So I brought out my brand new polisher yesterday. I did just my hood. Today I started on a door. About 10 minutes in it slowed way down and in a matter of seconds it stopped working.
Sounds like one of the brushes is shot. I have had this happen more than once before. Some of the brushes in the GG6 are less than impressive and can cause a quick failure of the machine. Fortunately, they included a second set of brushes that can be installed.

Are you using an extension cord? If so, what gauge? Try plugging it directly into an outlet.
