p21s total auto wash stripping wax?

A lot of misinformation out there. Will this stuff strip a fresh wax when used on paint? I got some stubborn residue to get rid of. I cant find anything anywhere official saying it has to be diluted either. nothing on the website or bottle but a bunch of people online saying you have to dilute it for different things?

    thanks

It's a APC so I'm sure it can degrade wax. I haven't used it in years but yes it should be diluted, I used 1:4 on nasty paint and 1:8 on bugs/sap.
it was a good product but too expensive for what I needed.

By all intents and purposes...TAW is a
    d-limonene (citrus-"based") degreaser.
    (pH said to be ~9.5)

Can it be used as a Wax stripper? IMO:
Depends on if you consider automotive
Waxes to be greasy, or not...

    •In my case:
-First off...I'm a proponent of using
    polishing processes to "strip" LSPS.

    -However...Whenever I use P21S' TAW
...(or its Cousin: S100 1 Liter Refill)...
    I always re-seal the TAW-ed surfaces with
an LSP---not so much as thinking that the
TAW "stripped" the Wax; rather it possibly
could, at least to some degree, provide some
    affect in breaking-down/weakening the LSP
(as do most aggressive cleaning methods).

    It won't strip a wax
You can test your self..get some slivers of paste wax..mince it as fine as you can..drop it in a cup of p21 wash...dawn , degreaser, wheel cleaner, Panel wipe, or w.e you have...it won't dissolve.

I believe you, they don't mention anything about stripping wax in the marketing or instructions. they actually claim the opposite that its safe on wax.

It did get rid of the oily/waxy build up i had on their from after my detail. i applied synergy wrong and i ended up with this hazy looking oily build up that ive been trying to get off my car for 2 weeks now.

In case anyone is interested in what I mean by "wrong" I polished my car. Then I put a coat of wet mirror finish on it. Then I put 2 coats of synergy on top of that. It is supposed to be applied to a surgically clean surface. My car was still covered in the polishing oils (which usually aren't that big of a deal with synergy) and the acrylic glaze I used. The synergy did not like that at all

Re: p21s total auto wash stripping wax?

I dilute it 10:1 in a spray bottle and 20:1 in a Kwazar foaming pump sprayer. Easily strong enough for anything I've used it for (wheels, edging a car prior to washing, prespray for extra grimy exterior places, fresh bugs covering front of vehicle). I mainly use the Kwazar foaming pump sprayer.

Oh, I've used the spray bottle concentrate on grimy interior plastics in the past - good stuff. But, mostly I use it on the exterior for the above uses.
