    New here, need help please

Need help with my new (used) 2015 Prius (No laughing!) I just got. Just washed and detailed the interior this weekend and kept feeling roughness on the outside, but could not see anything, no matter how closely I looked though I could feel it. Yesterday as the sun was setting and hit it at just the right angle I could see crud on it. Attaching pictures of it though it was hard to get a good shot.

Can you help me in what this is? Is it a bad waxing job, pollen or the contaminants you talk about? You can see where it appears to be clean under the side mirror and also my finger marks in the front area where I was trying to rub it.

    Thanks for the help!

    Lauren

Sounds like it needs to be clayed. Possibly Iron X followed by claying

Yep, just sounds like it needs clayed. It maybe just fallout from the environment or some overspray form somewhere.

Just try use little to no pressure while claying to avoid marring.
