2016 Blue Metallic Buick Regal Paint Correction

Never paint corrected a Buick before. Are these paints generally hard or soft?
    Thanks!

Thanks GSKR you are indeed right. Did a test spot on the customer car and it was on the medium softer side.

I would say its medium and typical GM paint. Nowhere near as soft as Nissan and other foreign makes.

Re: 2016 Blue Metallic Buick Regal Paint Correction

Our 2011 Carbon Black Metallic has hard paint. It was in the first batch built in Germany but I can't say if that's why the paint is hard. Mid year production was moved to Canada so I would assume that's why the others are typical GM medium. I had to use microfiber pads with HD Cut followed by HD Polish on B&S green foam. I'm getting ready to finish down the entire drivers side after the body shop but I plan to sand with 3000, then compound the whole thing again thanks to their wash method that mutilated the paint.
