Re: Update:Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer(Aerosol)
I was a little too late on this thread, but I had this same problem. A customer sprayed his headlights, rubber window trim, and various other black trim on his oxidized white Honda Van and DIDN'T TAPE OFF ANYTHING!!!!
Me and 3 guys had to magic erase virtually the whole van to get that stuff off. The magic eraser did wonders but needed some serious scrubbing.
Anyways, now that we're caught up...
BUY the GRAY magic erasers, NOT the white ones. The gray ones are much more dense and durable, and tear less frequently. I buy them from Amazon for like $15 for 200 or something.

They seem the same to me! And i use about 100 every 2-30 mos.
I also use them to clean exterior trim, works well for removing wax resiue and oxidation.

I buy 20pks. for around $3+free shipping from China. I've never heard about the black ones till now.

E2K,
I've always been weary about getting things from China, but you're saying they are good quality ones though, ha?

Super easy to apply.
Do not let the price fool you. It is not as expensive as some say in reviews. A tiny bottle goes a very long way. You only use little drips at a time to cover a large area.
The darkening on Trim and Tires comes out looking very Natural and Black. For me it's Perfect looking. I don't know what others feel. Depending on what types of trim, or what types of tires you use it on, it will range from Matte to Satin in look. The more applications you use the more sheen you can get. Just to test it, I tried applying a third layer, and even one more to see if the product would get even shinier, but really the Product tops out at about 2-3 layers and that's as far as it goes. Like I said though, for me, it's Perfect in what it looks like to me. There is no Fakeness in it's look at all, just natural with a little enhancement.
Based on what you said...I asked for a sample with my last order..used it..loved it! It made the trim on my NEW truck look even better. Therefore..placed another order and bought the bigger bottle. That stuff is great!!
