Eh...I'm all for sitting in my chair and ordering stuff online, but sometimes you need to get out into the real world. Of course, the times when that pays off seem to be getting smaller in number. Maybe a phone call first to see if they carry it bulk or pre-cut, and if the "thread" is the same on all of them.
PS I was just looking at McMaster and that hose goes for over $2 a foot (a little less than $2 if you buy more than 50'), so I'm not sure you'll do much better than that 40' one you pictured, and the Metro one doesn't seem so bad if it's got ends on it, etc. They call it "crush resistant duct hose" but I found it by searching under vacuum hoses.

I am looking for a hose extension as well. The pool hoses look promising. I just need to take some measurements on distance from unit to further part of vehicle assuming the hose it on the ground (not over top by some hanging apparatus).

I'd definitely use my MasterBlaster more if I had a longer hose. Interested to see what people have used, if a pool hose is a way to go.

I ended up just sticking with the short hose and dragging my Master Blaster around behind me like always...

Re: Master Blaster Hose extension - alternative brands?
I saw the 30 foot crush resistant tubing at DF2017 and its a rather nice piece covered in a plastic high gloss coating. It appeared almost rubberized.
That said, how much pressure would be lost when using a tube that's 3x's the length of the original ?? Part of the enamor of the MB is the power over leaf blowers and other drying units IMO.

I use the Master Blaster 8HP unit with a factory 30ft hose. I wouldn't worry about pressure loss. If you're not careful, it can blow door seals out of place. There are times when I turn one of the motors off. And while you're correct about the power being the main attraction to the MB, using a hose to dry a vehicle is the reason I love it. Try drying the top of a pickup while standing on a step platform while waving a leaf blower over the roof (I used to!), compared to a relatively light and flexible hose, and leaf blower goes back into the shed where it belongs

Re: Master Blaster Hose extension - alternative brands?
I spent the extra on the 30' hose from metro, lets me just hang the unit on the wall and go. At the time, reviews of cheaper hoses had people complaining of blowouts and rips from cheap plastic. I've had nothing but good CS from metro so I ponied up the $75 and bought theirs.
