    Will it buff?

My audi is mostly gray, and has pretty moderate to hard point. There are a few sections of gloss black though that are extremely tough.

The front bumper section has only seen 4k miles but has been bombarded with rocks/sand/salt and has what I'd call "micro pitting". You can't feel each individual defect... But the surface overall just feels a bit rough.

I'm about to invest in the new small flex with the 1" adapter. Do you think I could get after this will a compound, or will it affect the clear too much? I'm likely going to get it resprayed or vinyl coated... But wanted to get some insight from you all.

Bumpers have thin clear coats. Since your willing to get them resprayed..give the Flex a try.

And since it is plastic, it will heat up easy and then woops.
