kerosene smell
Had a friend stop by yesterday and showed me his vehicle with a terrible smell. He put a bottle of kerosene inside his vehicle and it leaked a little on the floor mat and possibly onto the carpet a little. Took the floor mat out and going to pressure wash it but the smell is still in the vehicle. I don't have an extractor or any other machine to use on the carpet so what would be good to use for getting the smell out? Will it just evaporate over a couple days and go away? Any info/help/suggestions would be appreciated . Happy Holidays

Re: kerosene smell
I'd strongly look into an ozone machine. Just google them and they'll be easy enough to track down.

Re: kerosene smell
That's a tough one if its solely on the mat I would throw it away but that's my personal opinion .If it's on the carpet it self I personally would find a carpet cleaning supply store that sells cleaning products to carpet cleaning professionals and find the right product you need.
