How to get dried compound off of black trim?
Hello all,
Did my truck the other day, my daughter was holding my polisher and paddled it quick. I didnt notice at the time, but it flung some very small dots of m205 across the tonneau cap I have on the bed as well as the black trim on the wheel well.
I wiped it off, but after a day or so, it seems to come back.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Isopropyl alcohol diluted with water works best.
Vegetable oil (and elbow grease) has also been known to lift that residue.

I've liked strong apc mixture, mothers hd trim cleaner, and scrub brushes.

If it's pretty fresh, you can reactivate it with water or a quick detailer and pull it off. If it's not, isopropyl alcohol diluted with water at 1:1 is what I use to remove almost anything.

That's what worked for me as well. Mothers B2B works great!
