PlastX question
I'm wondering if a light cleaning/polish of headlights with PlastX, once or twice a year on a new vehicle, would compromise the longevity of the lenses UV coating?
Is there a better product to use for this purpose that will clean/polish but not compromise the UV coating?
I'm using Megs Headlight Protectant but I think it's a simple sealer- not a cleaner. Seems like a cleaning once in awhile might delay hazing.

Re: PlastX question
I think you'd be better off by simply maintaining your headlights clean with your normal car wash solution and wash mitt. For protection you can use something like this Meguiars Headlight Protectant. Re Apply it every couple of months or so and you'll be far better off than doing nothing. And it's not abrasive at all.

Yeah i am using my normal sealant- Megs headlight protectant. but that's not clearing up the very light haze, as it's not abrasive. It's not bad enough to go at it with an abrasive if that will compromise the UV coating. (Risk/benefit). But if one light application of PlastX wouldn't do any harm, I know it would clear it up. Maybe I'll try a cleaner wax?

Re: PlastX question
The polish won't last that long.
