Re: BISSELL SpotClean ProHeat Portable?
ASAP2Stacks, HA! When my customers see the results they don't care what I use! Anyone can have a $5000 machine and not do as good of a job as someone with just solution a stiff brush and towels. Being a detailer is a obsession to make things perfect. If your customers are more concerned with the "tools" and not the end product thats too bad.
I will admit that I haven't done many high end cars. However, I have done disgusting soccer mom vans and had Fantastic Results! Sooooo shouldn't that be the real test? Nasty carpet with dried candy and spilled lattes or a 100k BMW that is relatively clean?

Mic dropped ? I'm taking it your a very young kids from the 1998 at the end of your user name, I believe you have a lot to learn still bud, it's ok to be upset we all had to start some where but as you get older your want to look more professional and only want to accept a certain kind of customer instead of just anybody but that's only if you stick with detailing. And detailing is not an obsession it's a life style for most of us that have been doing it for years and years. Try to learn and take advice and your make it a long way in this lifestyle/business.

The first one is a kohls for the same price. Wait till a 30% off deal and free shipping. It is 20% and free shipping now. That is going to be my next purchase.

Re: BISSELL SpotClean ProHeat Portable?
There's no right or wrong IMO..
Just pick the correct tool for the job... occasional use doesn't warrant professional tools..
Professional useage logically does.. and using occasional use tool professionally MAY lead to early wear / failure..
Stands to reason really...

Re: BISSELL SpotClean ProHeat Portable?
Little Green Machine + McCulloch steamer = as good, even better really, than high dollar extractors.
I have used high dollar extractors.
Huge waste of money.
Ok at best effectiveness.
Spend more time in the shop being fixed than in the field cleaning carpets.
I have never seen extractors remove stains as effectively and as quickly as the Little Green and McCullough steamer combo.

Re: BISSELL SpotClean ProHeat Portable?
At the end of the day you get what you pay for, don't expect a beast from a $60.00 machine. It's like going to Harbor freight and buying a polisher and calling yourself a professional detailer.

Re: BISSELL SpotClean ProHeat Portable?
If you clean cars professionally, get a high-end extractor. If you do it on your own cars, get a green machine. I used a green machine in my first year and it was mediocre at best.
