    HD Nano Pad

Has anyone tried the HD Nano Pad? It is supposed to be able to be used on a machine in place of claying. I did a search but found very little information. If you have used it, what did you think? Heres some info from the website.

This long lasting, 6" Nano pad will quickly remove paint over spray, water spots, tree, sap, rail dust, and other bonded surface contaminants from the surface of your automotive paint, glass, moldings, and plastic. Unlike a clay bar, The HD Nano Pad can be cleaned by simply rinsing off the accumulated contaminated with water. If you drop the pad on the ground, no worries. Just rinse with the Nano Pad and it is ready to use again. Attaches to any velcro 6" or smaller backing plate.

-Lasts 4 times longer than clay bars.

    -Produces a flawless paint surface.

-Glides on & Off easily for a slick finish.

-If inadvertently dropped, simply rinse clean.

    Thanks,

    Jim

    Re: HD Nano Pad

There are many brands that offer 'clay alternatives'. Speedy prep towel, optimum towel & sponge, nanoskin pads, etc.

They have a tendency to mar paint more than a clay bar. They are much faster though. I will only use if I plan to polish afterward.
