    Safety Mask

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to use a face or gas mask while using all the chemicals on the car? Do any of you guys regularily use them? And are the chemicals I use daily even bad for my health? Thanks.

Im not trying to sell this, I dont even know if it works well. But would something like this be good?

I recently got a detailing job so I am doing it for most of the day. I spend most of the time on the interior. Shampooing carpets, leather conditioning, dashboard, etc. Would you wear a mask for that stuff?

Mask and goggles when working on tires due to a lot of overspray from the degreaser. Safety first, protect your eyes and lungs.

I wear nitrile gloves, safety goggles and a respirator when cleaning wheels or using an iron or tar remover.

Even though I don't do detailing professionally, I'd recommend a mask/glasses for certain interiors if heavily soiled/using extractor chemicals that might be harsh on the lungs and especially MOLD. People's interiors can be pretty nasty.

Like the other ppl have noted in this thread: you want to protect your eyes/lungs/hands--especially if you're working with chemicals all day. I use nitrile gloves/safety glasses/mask for tires.
