    polish after claying ? needed

    noticed overspray on my truck tonite from the dam body shop when they painted the door anyway i plan on claying the truck tommorow do i need to polish after? will the clay leave scratches?
    names tom i live in nj with my wife cindy .and our 3 children. samantha gabriella and little tom...

    Claying shouldn't leave scratches, just use lots of lube. I suggest you wax or seal after though.

    Should be no need to polish after claying, just apply a coat of wax. Clay shouldn't leave scratches. You could get some marring, but again you may not.

    polish even if the paint is in great shape? theres only paint over spray on it
