Help? Dots on paint.

There's this weird dots on paint, I compounded it with cutting pad but it's still there..its a mercedes 2005 s-class. The 2nd picture is a 50/50 shot after compounding it.

Where are these dots? In the first picture, it looks like etching from bird droppings.

It's only at the hood of the car. The entire whole hood. Let me show a picture of the effect to light reflection.

I can't really see what you're trying to capture. If it's the whole hood, maybe it's not the original paint?

I think I realised what it is..its a clearcoat failure. Ps, this car have bad painting job too. Certain part are 50++ mils whereas the roof are only 3-4 mil. It's a pity such a nice car which actually belong to a VIP (equivalent to that of "Sir" status) left for months or years under the sun. Full of waterspot too. Going to show other paint defect on this car.

Just checked again, side of roof are 3 mil and mid roof are super thin at 2mil! Holy cow..This car super thin..I cannot proceed to polishing the roof.
