Micrfiber towels color code system help.
Can you share some of your color coded microfiber towels and which color is used for what. Trying to figure out a good color system.

Does it really matter? If you are buying the same towel except in different colors, just pick one for each task.

I use yellow for interiors, both cleaning and dressing--is that bad?

It is your color coding system. What works for you. You designate a specific color for what it's used for. Makes it easier to wash. No cross contamination, etc.
Those that get dropped are for wheel and engine use, etc. Used a perm. black marked to designate, no mix ups.

Exactly. I also keep them in separate, marked bins.

Re: Micrfiber towels color code system help.
I don't really have color coded system, except there are tire only towels. I only have around 50 towels, so I launder what I use and inspect them CLOSELY after a low dryer setting. I am relatively new to detailing, I suppose I'll come up with a system when I figure which MFT I find is best for each application. Good luck & take care.

I sort them into bins based on GSM/purpose. I also keep the towels that I use in the bottom of the panels (for rinseless and waterless wash) separated.
