Yesterday I worked on a Harley Super Glide, I coated everything on the bike except the pipes due to heat.
The chrome looked simply amazing and very slick.
My customer said it was hard to remove bugs on the chrome parts like the mirrors , hopefully the coating helps him.
I'm not sure if it will last two years on chrome and plastics but it's worth a try.
I'll coat my headlights on my two personal cars, I'll see how long it will last.

The coating addiction is catching on and i know im hooked. Its funny i think all of us in the business use our personal cars for testing. I know Nick has more products on and off his car than anyone. My Hummer H2 has been great for testing. Some coatings work better than others for my trim and they have all looked great on paint. What a great time to be in the industry with these ground breaking products being introduced.

I've never used a coating before and I keep imagining the product building up in the crevices of the Harley Davidson logo, or getting funky tape lines where the coating didn't reach... How did you avoid that, or am I over thinking the process?
I'd like to give coatings a try, and I think it will be an easier sell to the Harley guys in my area.

First off, there's is no tape used so no lines to worry about.
We're talking about one coat of the coating, it spreads very even like.
Yes, your over thinking the process. Lol
Really nothing to worry about.

No taping.
I did my car yesterday and went right over the racing stripes, not sure if it will hold up but I did it for fun.
Looked at it in the sun today, love the new look my car now has.
Then morning when I got at my shop there were a few bugs on the front bumper, a little ONR and it was quickly gone, that easy.
Amazing!

I've seen others complain about having high spots or white marks, so in my mind I thought it was more complicated. I've watched videos of other brands and they make it out to be only for professional use and any mistakes are semi permanent or a killer pain to remove.... I'll have to wait for a sale. Been wanting to try one out for a while now.
