303 Aerospace Protectant for coating RV

Looking for input, pros and cons, of using 303 Aerospace Protectant to basically coat a small camper (except the windows). I'm thinking it could help protect the fiberglass top and sides, vinyl decals, plastic parts, seals and rubber parts, etc.

Other questions - How long could it last exposed to the elements (I'm in GA)? Can you wax over it, like if you wax the fiberglass sides? If it's not waterproof like a wax, what can you spray on to top coat it with? If not using 303, any other recommendations for a spray on protectant?

Thanks in advance. While I've been detailing cars for 20+ years, this is my first experience with a travel trailer and using 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Hmm..I am not sure it would be the best choice for the fiberglass. Is it gel coated? I would think any marine or car wax / sealant would be a better choice. Something like a Collinite 845. As far as plastic parts and trim, I would go about protecting them the same way you would on a car.

Buffing the 303 into the gel coat seemed to be the ticket as it heated the application which increased the durability and not washing off in the rain. I now use DG 601/105 and 601/111 which seems to be good for a year or close to it. 601/501 is at most 6 months

Gel-Gloss wash and wax is a great product to use, formulated especially for gel coats. Use the stuff every 4-6 months and it will help protect your finish including the decals. I know several people who have used it and their RVs have held up well.

303 for the roof and tires.

Aerospace 303 is great stuff, but personally I would not use it on fiberglass/gelcoat. Not because it would cause damage, but because if I recall correctly, Aerospace 303 recommends re-application about every 5-weeks, where as a good coat of wax should last 3-months plus. I have a TT and I wax it. I do use 303 on the rubber, vinyl etc.

303 will work fine on fiberglass, however as others have stated it provides about 30 to 45 days of uv protection. After that you have to reapply. Typically I tell people to reapply evey 30 days for max protection.
I would polish and seal or coat it. From there 303 all your seals/ rubber roof/ and tires. You should be good. For added uv on your decals you can use 303 speed detailer, it has plenty of uv inhibitor in it.

If I have not said it enough I work for 303 so I'm a little biased.

My experience with 303 has been awful so be careful. Just put it on a small bit first.
