Re: Best Topper for A Coating
This was a great thread I have been experimenting with toppers for a few reasons and came reading a lot about toppers being possibly fluoride based and are extreme water beading I think that is what over coat is based off.
The best results that I got were car pro esscence plus 1:2 with distilled water it worked great and had zero streaking and filled micro marring the coating looked brand new and beading was good. I think I could probably add more water 1:5 and it would still work wonders. I only use a very very small amount and is a very good bang for your buck. I have Gyeon cure as well I think im going to mix cure, water and esscence plus and see if it works even better. Most people that top coating are probably like me experimenting and enjoying the work.
One guy brought up blackfire crystal mist the wowa I just bought a bottle of BOGO I will try that as well maybe compare to the first mixture. I resisted coating for a long time and have probably 10 wax’s and 10 Sealant and bunch of spray sealants that are all great. Coating are where it’s at and can’t wait to see where this goes. Try them and most likely will have positive experience don’t be afraid of application YouTube has you covered

I'm preparing a Review of the new Pinnacle Crystal SiO2 spray but having tried it on my DD so far its phenominal!
Thiis product is ok, per the AG desciption, to use on any previously applied LSP.

Any thoughts on Pinnacle vs other SiO2 sprays, including BF? I look forward to your review!

At this point you can almost pic a brand to top a coating, lots of choices out there, especially lately!

I’ve switched to Cambodian breast milk. Silky a wee bit thicker to buff.

Re: Best Topper for A Coating
I have used 2 so far: CarPro Reload and Gtechniq C2V3. I love Reload and I think C2V3 is a very bad product. I don't know how durable C2V3 is, but after applying I don't see any enhancement in the gloss level where as Reload makes the paint pop like crazy.
Next year I intend to try Hydrosilex Recharge. I hate the fact it is getting promoted as a Ceramic coating, but it might be a good ceramic sealant. Will have to try it to know.

I had heard good things about Cambodian breast milk so I gave it a try. I found that when I cut it 50% with Beadmaker, the gloss and longevity was phenomenal. Saved a lot of money since it's expensive and hard to find.
