Pick a windshield coating.
I am looking for a long lasting, effective glass coating for the windshields of my personal vehicles. There seem to be so many that have come to the market this past year. I am considering............
Opti-Glass
PBL Glass Coating
DP Glass Coating
GTechniq G1
Car Pro Forte
Ease of application would be a bonus, but my main requirements are durability and effectiveness. Thank you so much for the feedback!
In addition: Has anyone tried the Duragloss Enviroshield Coating on glass?

CarPro Forte, hands down!
Ridiculously easy to apply, great hydrophobic characteristics and durability beyond what I have tried so far which includes 3 out of the list above + CarPro FlyBy30

Well I have had opti-glass on my windshield for over 13 months and still beading very well. The vehicle is outside 24/7 and driven about 12,000 miles last year. Located in Oklahoma temps ranging from 107* to as low as 5* with about 35 in. of precipitation annually.

I thought you might say that . It is the only one not 25% off.
It is still a bargain however! Especially if it can last 2 years!

Re: Pick a windshield coating.
One note: whichever you choose, you really need to put the effort in to make sure you're coating as clean and smooth a glass surface as is practical. The same way you'd only want to coat paint that has been corrected and polished, the glass -- if it isn't brand new -- should be washed, chemically and physically decontaminated, and then machine polished with cerium oxide. I only have experience with CarPro rayon 5" pads on my PC with CeriGlass polish, and it takes a good hour to do an older windshield. But now I'm satisfied that I have removed all contaminants and stains, water spots and even minor scratches and pitting.

Re: Pick a windshield coating.
FlyBy30 beads off in steady rain at speeds starting around 25 mph; in lighter rain it's at freeway speeds (ie: 55+) and in mist it's hit-and-miss. I usually have to reach for the stalk about once a minute in fine mist or road spray. I guess it depends on your tolerance. My buddy would have the wipers on full time in conditions where I do one wipe every 30 seconds or more.
