Is this clear coat/ sign of clear coat failure?
Is this a clear coat/sign of clear coat failure? On my front hood of my cargo van. My paint gauge measures it at no reading and surrounding areas have very low readings.

By no means am I a professional, but from the picture it looks like the clear coat failure on my wife's car.
