    wolfgang finishing glaze question/ uber

I just did a test on my trunk of my 2003 c320 to see if wg swirl remover and either a ccs white pad or orange would do the job. I had to use the orange pad to get it to work on all the light swirls but did not get out the deeper scratches. I am going to try wg uber compound on a white pad to see if that will get them out. (can't feel scratches with fingernail). Any way should i use my wg finishing glaze with ccs gold pads to top either the swirl remover or uber?, or should i use the white pad? after the glaze i am going to top with klasses sealer and let dry for 12hours then top with 2 coats of wg fuzion. going to be winterizing maybe in october.

Use the white pad - and take the blue pill.

Agree, use Uber with orange pads and finishing glaze with the white. Those are common combo's. As always, a test spot will tell you if you are on right track.
The gold pads would be a waste of time for correction with the DA polisher.

I agree that the WGFG on what sounds like harder paint will probably not do much, but that's what a Test Spot is for

Based on what you have described so far, including some deeper scratches, I would do a Test Spot with Uber/Orange, followed by TSR/White and just for Fun, follow with WGFG on Black and/or White

We are sometimes surprised about what combos work on what paint

    Have Fun

Gold pad would be great for that

Keep the speed at 2-3 on a DA

I usually hit everything I can with the DA and then remove the pad from the DA and hit tight areas like under door handles

WGTSR is a totally killer product, with ab-so-tutely no doubt in my "little" mind!

But, as these smart-wise folks suggest, and as we all know, no 2 vehicles are alike! The "proverbial test spot" is what will get you to home base.

Buy buy buy! One NEVER has enough products! LOL
