why do my SUV brakes squeal after car wash?

I was backing up the SUV down a gentle slope in the underground parking when I noticed the brake squeal when I press on brake.

Probably because you've got a little flash rust on the rotors from the wash.

Getting more pad to metal contact until a layer of pad material mates to the metal brake rotor or drum. Plus, drum brake systems(most parking brake systems included) self adjust when applied in reverse. So that could have been part of the cause. Wouldn't worry if the brake system is maintained properly/regularly.
