Entry level Electric PW-thoughts, advice etc...

I am looking into a starter level electric PW.
I am interested in this one
Karcher K3.00 Follow Me 1800 PSI Electric-Cold Water Pressure Washer

This is not something AG sells so I think I can link.

Anyone have any suggestions for a sub $200 Electric Pressure Washer. Mostly used for cars and around the house applications.

I've heard good things about the one from Sam's club. I think it's black max? That's what I will be getting in the next month or two

i've said this many times.. if i were in the market for an electric pressure washer (did quite a bit of research), i would get the blackmax 1700psi pressure washer from sams club. it's right under $130 or so and comes with a 2 year warranty. it's gotten good reviews across the board and it's essentially the same one from ryobi (also has gotten favorable reviews as well) just re-branded...

Along the same lines as the Sam's Club unit, I bought the Simpson at Costco. Can't beat a lifetime satisfaction guarantee; if it ever fails, I bring it back for a full refund.

I picked up a Ryobi electric PW from Home Depot. $165 or so and it has a 3 year warranty! Used it about a dozen times so far and love it! Also it's only 1700psi but works perfectly with my foam cannon and it's not too strong that if you catch the paint by accident, it won't strip it or anything. Definitely look into it.

Get a used gas pw from the home Depot, they're usually less than $200. ( returns). My local HD has a few all the time. Way better than electric imo.

I was looking last night I had decided on the ryobi from HD it is $150 with 3 nozzles and 3 year warranty.

I have zero desire for a gas one.

for the guys with the ryobi..how do you like it?...i've been looking at that one as well...i'm torn right now cause i have a 2300 psi 2.0 gpm gas but the pump went bad....new pump is 190$. now the ryobi is only 159....but not nearly as much cleaning power...just wanted some input as if i should repair what i have, or go for the ryobi...or one of the like.... just need it to work with my MTM next gen foam cannon without having to buy to many extra parts..

I personally hate gas ones. So you could always try it then return it if it isn't up to your standards. But less maintenance still cleans the car fantastic give it a shot.

I purchased the smallest PW that was available at Wal-Mart last year.

It's their own brand (Tune it!) and it was on special for 48 CAN$.

The unit is 1600 PSI, which is plenty for what we do. It's hand held, weights about 5 pounds so it's very easy to carry around.

I came with an adjustable spray nozzle and a foam bottle.

The only issue I have is that I would like the hose to be a little longer, but since the unit is lightweight it's not so bad, just move the unit.

What I like about this unit besides the ridiculously low price is that being so small it's great for mobile detailling.
