    Hard interior plastics

My wife's truck, in particular, has very hard interior plastics that scratch easily. The B-pillar (seat belt buckle) and door panel around the handle show the worst effects. The material has a fake pebble grain embossed into it, so sanding would seem of little value.

It would seem that something that would act as a (likely) temporary filler may be my best option. Would much prefer a matte finish as opposed to shiny.

I have been looking at CarPro PERL, but would be curious as to others' experience with this or better products.

    Thanks

For interior bits like that, regular cleaning and an application of 303 Aerospace works well for me.

PERL is a great product that can be diluted to taste.

Sanding and polishing will definitely not work! Pick an interior dressing and give it a shot. I really like 1Z Cockpit Premium for routine maintenance but 303 might to a better job of covering you defects if in fact they are scratches/scuffs.

I like CG's VRP. But I like a shiny interior also.

    Re: Hard interior plastics

I would love to see some pictures of the defects your are trying to hide.

Also, anyone who is having success covering this type of defect, please post some Before & After pics.

Curious to see what is working on these types of blemishes on interior plastics.
