I got some new Yokohamas, can't wait to coat them.
Any else find the applicator breaks down after a few uses? I suppose a regular tire applicator will work...?

I'm holding out a full review of the DP tire coating compared to the TW because the tires are very new. I cleaned them the day I got them last Sat and applied 2 initial coats, one the next day. Fast forward 1 week and 1 rinseless wash as well as 2 touch free washes at 2 different gas stations. The tires still have a matte finish but compared to TW after the same 1 week period, well, the TW looked better. I'll be doing another coat when it gets warmer out, if that ever happens😋

Yep the packaged applicator will shed but still works.
I use a CG applicator, which actually says Carrand on the blue grip??? after the stock one has gone south.
Also coat the inside of the tire as long as they are new and off the car.
I really hope this Jet Black endura-shine stays on the market.
Now if only they could refine the trim shine so it doesn't streak.
I am not coating the back, for me, I would not keep up the process on a daily driver.
New or not, if cleaned properly, it could be coated anytime.
Thanks for the update Klasse. Looking forward to your final review.
I think it will be better when it's warmer because it was warm enough when initially applied but cooler when pulled out. It could be absorbing the coating as well until it's done, we'll see.

I re-coated mine today as it was pretty much all gone. We'll see how long it lasts this time as the weather will be nicer for much longer. Although, I have to admit I didn't clean the tire super well, but they were "clean".
