After riding around for a while I decided to apply a 3rd coat, three times a charm, right, LOL!
I've been thinking about this too, Turtle Wax and their advertising, or should I say lack of it. They had/have a great product with their rinseless wash, but falls short with the directions. Only the last sentence tells you to use the 2 bucket method, fail! Then NO commercials for it. I've always said a "grass roots" campaign should be in order to show people what their products can do. Keep it simple here, rinseless wash, wheel cleaner and this new tire coating, think about it, your basic carwash is wash the car and clean the tires and wheels and dress the tires, Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS). Maybe a regional tour for this and although I'm no professional I have the gift of gab and when I believe in something strongly the passion just flows out of me. Find local cruize nights, get in contact with their organizers and just do a car right there on the spot, some random car that needs a good cleaning, God knows thereks enough of those around!

Ok so we're over my wife's parents house and I parked near a tree that sprayed light drops of sap, so I hit the quarter wash to rinse off the sap. While I was at it I sprayed down the engine bay too and the soap and water did get on the tires and guess what.......
TIRES LOOK GREAT, they even dried themselves! I did spray some QD on a small mf towel and just wiped them down for the hell of it. I can't wait to see how long and how well the sheen holds up with this stuff!

I have 3 coats on mine, going on many weeks, if I take it through my car wash at work they look great after they dry. If I wash them with onr at home they look great when they dry. I drive past a couple rock quarries every day and my car sits outside like 1/4 or half mile away from them so I get lots of dust on my car each day and week so the tires get quite a work out in dirt and dust. When it rains I get all that nice dirt and dust sprayed up all over the car and tires but it comes right off. This stuff has been the best tire stuff I have used by far just on ease of cleaning after application before I was putting a new coat of whatever on each week or so
Turtle wax has potential they have probably quite a bit of R&D money but the average joe just doesn't seem to wash their own vehicle these days. So who knows what and where they come up with the product ideas from.
