Re: Best beading product?
Figured I'd bump this one up rather than start a new post.
PA Cosmic Spritz is apparently the gold standard for beading eh? From the products I've used so far I'd rank them this way: 1. HCD/m799 2. Wet Coat 3. Griot's 3 in 1. 4. Hyper-Seal 5. Opti-Seal.

Re: Best beading product?
So far best beading I got was from a 50/50 mix of Meguiar's HCD and Sonax BSD as a topper on M37 v2 coating

Yes I was pleasantly surprised. What inspired me was a video by fellow forum member Loach (WaxMode on yt) about using BSD as a topper on coatings.
I read that some people find BSD difficult to work with, so I thought why not mix it with another product that is an absolute breeze to work with and that product was HCD (which Loach introduced to me as well through his videos).

His videos are very good. HCD/BSD are top notch beaders. I haven't used BSD but I have used HCD.

Re: Best beading product?
I never cared much about beads until maybe the last year or so. Visually it is neat to see, but they do also help with the self-cleaning I've noticed.

I still find Sonax PNS and BSD as hard to beat for beading and being hydrophobic/self cleaning. When this post was started, they were relatively new products. Now they are approaching 9 years old. For waxes, the Collinites are hard to beat for beading.

I believe it. I'd add Meguiar's Hybrid Paint Coating to the list as well. They can hang in for up to a year or more if topped with BSD or m799. They are also non si02 products too. Polymer based.

I just picked up the following Meguiars products; Hybrid Paint Coating, Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax and Hybrid Ceramic Detailer. I am debating using them on one of my vehicles for the winter. I know Sonax PNS with a monthly top off with BSD can handle Pennsylvania winters pretty well. I just put the PNS on our other car. Love everything about PNS and BSD except for wipe off of the PNS, and the fact both of them are non slippery to the touch. If the Meguiars trio can get me a year, and add the ease of wipe off and slippery feel, that would be a huge win. I have watched MK's Details & Deep Dives on YouTube. This guy used to work for Meguiars and helped develop all of these products. According to him, HCW and HCD are both great topper for HPC, but will probably not stick too well for the 1st 6 months at least due to HPC pretty much rejecting anything adhering to it. He stated if you wait more than 1 hour to apply a 2nd coat of HPC to itself, it will have started curing enough that it will try to reject itself.
