Thoughts on a different wash technique

I am considering the use of Iron-X Snow Soap as the main shampoo for the Opti-Coated cars that I maintain.

Here are the official CarPro instructions for using the soap as a hand-wash. I plan to use it full-strength, not diluted.

Directions as Hand Wash:

- Thoroughly rinse the surface to remove all large and/or loose particles.
- Apply Soap directly to mitt or sponge and wash a section before rinsing the mitt/sponge and repeating with the next section. (While Snow Soap is used as a hand wash. It should not be added to your wash bucket)
- You will notice the soap gel changing color where it encounters iron. This indicates fallout removal and highlights the areas of concern where you may wish to follow up with either Iron X paste or liquid, later on in the decontamination process. While small iron particals will be removed by IXSS larger particles or vehicles that have not been thoroughly decontaminated previously will require the higher concentrated Iron X or Iron X Paste.
- Thoroughly rinse all surfaces

This technique goes against the recommendation of a two-bucket wash.

Do you folks feel that this is a safe way to wash a vehicle? My thought is that this technique is only safe for lightly soiled vehicles, and the mitt should be rinsed out after each panel.

I think you missed a spot dead center above the emblem.

Way too many deviations from a tried and true method. I believe your diluting the product quite a bit and if there's any real contaminant on the surface your spreading it around especially in a swirling pattern as shown. I always wash all panels straight lined, front to back and visa versa.
