    Waterless Wash Convert

After getting some great advise here, I took the plunge and ordered the Pinnacle Liquid Crystal Waterless Wash, a spray bottle and some plush MF towels.

Last night I had a few minutes, so I gave it a go. It was great being able to wash the car in the comfort of my garage when the temps outside were in the teens with the wind chill.

The Pinnacle product worked great. I had a few streaks, but that could have been a result of poor technique, too much product, or both. In the end the results were great and my whole garage smelled like a Piña Colada. Below are a couple of post wash pics. I'll attempt to get some daylight shots, but it's a bit cold right now.

As a note, this was applied to a car I applied Poorboys Black Hole Glaze and a coat of Collinite 845 about a month ago. It wasn't until I was done with this wash that I realized the Carnauba in the waterless wash probably tanked my Collinite vs Klasse test I was running. Oh well...

I doubt theolymer content affected your LSP's. And if it does will only last a few days. Pinnacle is great stuff. You should add Ultima to your arsenal as well. Also use a pump or garden sprayer. Much better spray when doing a waterless wash.
    Back to the full-time grind.

Were you happy with the Blackhole and 845? I was thinking of using that exact combo on my black Jeep for the winter.

The beginning should have read "the polymers " not " theolymer" thanks ipad.

It was a toss up between Pinnacle and the UWW, and I intend to try both. The carnauba content in the Pinnacle is what got me to try it first since I wanted to see what it would do on my black car.

Oh, no you made a stellar choice no doubt. I just encourage people to try Ultima too, since it's so good and economical.

Looks good! Just picked up a garden pot sprayer and am going to complete my first rinseless/waterless wash today. Sure beats being outside in freezing temps!

Here is the write up I did shortly after doing the work. I've been very happy so far. I did one hose wash before weather tanked and it was almost as if the water was bouncing off the surface of the car.

    Re: Waterless Wash Convert

Not sure. I haven't seen the sun in a couple of weeks. Between the weather and the short daylight hours, I'm in vampire mode until Spring.

My concern with using it in direct sun would be the temperature of the surface and the product drying as fast as your spraying it on.
