The products just cleared customs and will be on the website soon I have been told from the American distributor.
I am interested in them for the reason of being new and some large claims. But only testing and time will tell.

I recently had the pleasure of being shown the modesta coating at a local meet and great with Barry Theal. Alex Borda was there (one of the US reps). The amount of gloss it adds to the paint and the thickness of the coating are amazing.
You could actually feel the difference between the coated area and non-coated area. Which is pretty amazing if you ask me.
There are still some things to be ironed out about how it will be released in the US. i.e. terrtories, how to get "qualified", etc.
But it should be available soon so you will see more and more of it.
I do know of a test between c quartz finest and modesta, modesta did not fair well in several tests.
I just think the price per car makes it unreasonable
I think he talks about the slickness test. Thats the only test I know.
Slickness as well as resistance to strong cleaners, sorry I cannot link to the test, you should be able to find it.
I am sure it is a great product, but I much prefer the wet look of OC over candy like finishes. I guess it is personal. 3-10 years is a big difference as well. I'd love to see some examples by regular guys.
I have heard some things but it all comes down to difficulty in application. It will be interesting to get some real world info but, at this point, I am inclined to believe that the products should be limited to pro's with controlled environments.
The gentleman I talked to in Florida also told me the prep polish actually decreased durability?
I was also at the demo put on by Alex Borda. After the testing I was told that when the product was removed it was sanded off since abrading it with a machine wasn't going to do it. Now that would be some extremely tough stuff but could be problematic. Alex was scheduled to travel to a seminar overseas to obtain more info on the proper care and removal of Modesta so I think he would be the one to contact for product info on their website or fb page.
