I have Zaino on my car now, what do I need to do before using anything new?

I put Zaino on my car before I found this site and the wonderful products. I am about to place an order but before I do, I need to know what I need to do to prep the pain after using Zaino Z2 and Z5. Can I use the WG and Souveran right over these or do I need to start over. If so, how would I go ahbout this?

I switched from Zaino recently. I recommend washing with PBSSS or DG(from what I've read), claying and then using Klasse AIO. If you do that, you will have prepped well. IIRC, zaino has fillers. So after you use the AIO, you may need a polish before WG and Souveran.

Any paint cleaner or swirl remover should tackle the Zaino. Klasse AIO, Poorboy's Pro Polish, P21S paint cleaner, etc will all get rid og it and then you can add what you want after that. If you are going to be polishing the paint to remove some swirls... you don't need to do anything -- the abrasives in the polish will remove the previous layers of Zaino.

So the Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer that comes with the kit would take care of the Zaino?

Hey I only learn from the best. BTW I finished up my Zaino detail yesterday. I only went with 2 coats of Z5 but it looks great. Be prepared for some pictures in the very near future. Thanks for your help.

Correct. It is a chemical cleaner which will clean the paint suffeciently for new LSPs.
