    4 Compounds/Polishes to last you a lifetime??

If you could only have 4 polishes/compounds to tackle anything that comes your way, including single-stage paint, during production detailing what would they be?

Preferably if you would list them in order from most aggressive down to least aggressive that would be a huge help. In other words what products would you have lined up for your test spot?

Reason I'm asking is I am running low on my compounds and polishes and my current supply consists of WTSR Meg's UC and UP. Although I am not unhappy with these products I would like the best bang for my buck on future purchases. I have two single stage paint corrections coming up and need to purchase some stuff before I tackle them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If it helps at all my buffer I will be utilizing is the Flex 3401 w/ hybrid pads. Thanks in advance.

Re: 4 Compounds/Polishes to last you a lifetime??

I just finished a '93 Ford Ranger with Single stage paint. I used Meg's UC and UP with my Flex 3401 with great sucess. I used the Hydo-tech pads though, don't think it would make that much difference. I also used M205 on the door jambs and they came out looking great.
If I were to choose another set of compounds, I have had really good luck so far with the Menzerna SF-4000. but would recommend the FG-400, SF-4000 then Power lock combo. The Menzera seems to have a little longer working time and does not seem to dust as much.
I am sure that everyone has their favorites, but I have just been starting out and this is what I have found.
I hope this helps you a bit.

My new go to is d300 for correcting then m205 for finishing. D300 doesn't dust and has given me some great results.

    FG400 and m101. M101 does everything better than m105.
    PF2500 and Sonax PF
