    Unknown sticky stuff?

I wash my car once a week. Sealed and waxed quite often.

I live in Ontario if that matters.

Car was quick detailed yesterday, and lately I've woken up to this sticky stuff all over my car that can't be wiped off without a QD.

Car is always under the shade, and parked under a car port (exposed sides)

Closest tree is about 10 feet away (unsure what kind)

Any idea what this stuff is? Very annoying as I need to QD my car everyday.

Best picture I could get. It's all over car.

If under a carport and the light stays on all night, then maybe bug doodoo? Hard to tell from the picture

    I would say tree sap.
Specifically, tree mist from a hardwood species.

You would be surprised how far sap can travel. I know all too well. I hate trees
