First Time Product Purchase
I'm looking to get more into auto detailing/car care and have been doing a lot of reading here and elsewhere. It seems the more I read, the more my head spins with different products and facts. The vehicle I will be working on is my 2011 Mazda Miata with a black metallic paint finish. The car is, unfortunately, street parked and driven year-round. The car was professionally detailed (with compounding) several months ago, but I still see fine swirl marks in the paint and very light scratches in some parts of the body.
I was thinking of picking up this kit here. Would this be a good starting ground given my paint isn't in terrible condition? I'm trying to start with the least aggressive products before I take something with more cutting power to the paint.
I was planning to start with the Power Finish on a white polishing pad. I'd follow this with the Super Finish on a black finishing pad. Lastly, I'd finish with the Power Lock sealant on a blue finessing pad.
Please excuse my amateur questions, I'm still very new at this and want to make sure I'm approaching everything correctly !

Re: First Time Product Purchase
That sounds like a plan...will you be doing this by hand or with a machine?

I'll be doing this with a random orbit DA polishing machine.
Thanks for the reassurance, everyone! I'll be sure to post photos of the results.
