Wax and Paint Chips
Hello,
I was wondering if claying your car, followed by porter cable applied Blackfire Paint Sealant makes the vehicle more susceptible to paint chips since the clay removes any preexisting wax. Is this somewhat true?
Thanks in advanced!

No. Wax should not provide any resistance to chipping. A permanent coating that bonds to the paint like Opti-Coat MIGHT offer a slight level of protection but if you want chip protection you'd have to go with a clear bra IMO.
Wax On!

Driving the vehicle makes it susceptible to paint chips, not clay.
