    Waterless and rinseless washing ?

Hey everyone , I seen that there are some of these products on bogo this week . Ive never used rinseless or waterless washing methods before im a traditional wash guy as of now . But with this bogo I think im going to try them out . Just wondering which one is better , what towels to use , and about how much time does it take to perform the wash using these products. Also what about wheels tires and fender wells how do you go about vlearning those areas ? Any info or advise would be appreciated . Thank you

I've used Optimum No Rinse and Chemical Guys EcoSmart, both of which work great when used correctly.

Re: Waterless and rinseless washing ?

A lot of people save time when they do these alternative methods to washing. However, it still takes me the same time for rinseless because I'm trying to do it carefully. Waterless saves me a little time only.

When I do waterless washing, I don't wash the wheels. I don't feel comfortable doing waterless to the wheels. As for rinseless, I clean the wheels like I clean the paint with the waterless solution.

Re: Waterless and rinseless washing ?

To me waterless is not much more than a QD, but I do use a WW if my car is extra dusty. I prefer rinseless and saves a tone of time. I use the grey plush MF towels you can get here on the geek. The wheels I do after wards by dumping the left over solution into my wheel bucket and wash the tires and wheels with my tire and wheel brushes. Then dry with a seperate drying towel.

Re: Waterless and rinseless washing ?

I love doing rinseless washes when the car isn't super dirty. I like being able to wash it in full sunlight in the middle of the day and not worry about water spots even on black paint.

Remember though, both of these methods have their limits. Only use them when you think it is safe enough to.

I did two over the weekend, and they took me about 40 minutes each, with wheels.

That's about how long it takes me to do my car taking my time. Depends on how big the vehicle is and different obstacles. I have a spoiler to work around, my front bumper has a ton of tight spots and curves. It definitely saves me a lot of time and water.
