how do you wash/clean Lake Country 5 1/2 inch Flat Foam Pads

Newbie here, what is the best way to clean the Lake Country 5 1/2 inch Flat Foam Pads

I have the xmt polishing pad cleaner that worked fine on the (white) polishing pad with water and rung it out to dry, but what is the best way to clean the black pad, I used Pinnacle Souveran paste wax on it? with stuff I have around the house for now and maybe to buy later, so I can use it again In the future. for right now I sprayed the XMT polishing pad cleaner on it and have it soaking in water. Thanks all!

Here is a review that Swanicyouth (steve) did and in the middle of the article you will find about how he cleaned his applicator pad with some mineral sprits.

Oops hahaha wrong thread found the right one.

I just keep on pad as a dedicated pad as wax repels water so cleaning them is a bit challenging. You can try some APC if you want to clean them.

I spray mine down with pad cleaner and spray nine. Let them soak for around 20 mins or so and the squeeze and rinse them under running water. Come out clean and spin or towel wrap dry them and let them air dry over night. No problems up to this point.

    Diluted or straight?

Me personally I just bought a pad washer. Its much easier to clean on the fly and also less work than the way I use to do it.
Submerge it over night in either apc or snappy clean pack in a bucket overnight and the next morning brush it with a pad brush and rinse it with a decent stream of water and let dry during the day

Dilute as per directions on Chemical Guys bottle into a trigger sprayer. Spray pad and spray again with Spray Nine and then let soak in followed by rinse with water.
