    Scratches

Hi, I got a little over zealous and put these scratches in my decklid, they are down to the primer. I am filling them with touchup, is there anything else I can do? No Im not paying a body shop.

You can sand it down to expose the paint (just on the chipped area)

Then you could keep adding layers and gently wet sanding them out. (Over and over again)

Then when your satisfied with the final results, you can buff and polish it out.

Won't be 100% fix but will look a lot better then just touch up paint blob

    Re: Scratches

If there past the clear not much you can do really just touch up paint. Wet sanding isn't going to do anything if its past the clear and and down to primer.
