Turtle wax tire shine
Put some on my tires and got some on the wheels too. I can not get off the wheels. How do I remove it with out hurting the clear coat on the wheels?

Re: Turtle wax tire shine
How long did you leave it on ? Did it get baked on from the heat the brakes put off ? I would start with a good all purpose cleaner then step up to a degreaser, you could also try whatever wheel cleaner you might have. I would find a good detailing brush something that wont hurt the clear coat and work the cleaner a little bit after letting it sit for a minute or two. Make sure you rinse off all the cleaner once your done.

It had to be on the wheels for awhile. I have use a few wheel cleaners on them. It's sticky like glue. Nothing has an effect on it. I even used a mothers power ball on it. Ill have to take pic to show what I'm talking about

Get a decent degreaser(Super Clean, Purple Power, Zep 505) and use it straight. Scrub the wheels and rinse it off. You'll be good to go.
