The art of drying a black car

Anyone have any tips/suggestions on the proper way to dry a black car with leaving micro scratches are marring the paint? I have a Meguiars Waffle Weave towel that I use but it just doesn't feel soft enough to dry the paint.

If your paint is super soft, you'll have a heck of a time. I have a navy blue BMW and i could dry it with cardboard and it wouldnt leave swirls, haha!

It's an Acura TL type-s, so yeah, soft paint

Looks like blowing it try is the only surefire way to avoid putting swirls into the paint...bummer.

I also think that this is a good opportunity to ask - since I've got a black car, what is the safest way to do a wipe down after polishing to remove all of the oils for the last step product? Wiping down immediately after polishing reintroduces new swirls/micro scratches/marring into the paint.

Using quality soft plush microfibers towel is the key thing. Make sure you fold them four ways and spread out the pressure over your hand and don't use finger tip pressure.

I also have an black pearl TL I use deionized water as a final rinse so I don't have to touch it to dry it.
