Recommendation for an affordable electric power washer
I am looking for recommendations on an affordable (under 175 dollars)electric power washer for rinsing and also use as a foam cannon/gun. I searched and read that a few members have had a lot of difficulty using AR Blue Clean with a foam gun. I only intend to use power washer for my car only, with no other purpose. Please provide model numbers if at all possible.
Another concern I had about using a pressure washer is there any harm in using a 1600-2000psi electric power washer on your car once or twice a month?
Thank you!

Karcher K series, they can be had for under $100. They come with 2 different tips. At 1200 PSI its all the power you will need. Their Rapid Exchange program is Amazing.

Re: Recommendation for an affordable electric power washer
I use on from Home Depot for a year when I started my business. I went through 2 motors and 4 wands. They did work fine on the job and I liked the on-demand without starting a gas engine.
Just get what ever you can. There kinda crappy but with a good warranty you can get it replaced.

Re: Recommendation for an affordable electric power washer
So with foam lance/cannon ($55-75) we're looking at around $200 for a electric power washer foam setup? Also I read quite a bit about Karcher being a pain in the butt to get the fittings/cannon to work? I may sound a bit daft but I haven't looked to much into PW's sorry.

I have the Greenworks unit from Lowes, around $100. Then I picked up something that converts it to a better lance and a foamer for cheap. I think it was mentioned on here a while back.

Re: Recommendation for an affordable electric power washer
I bought the "high end" Greenworks and it has worked for 2 years no with no issues. Its rated at 1700 PSI which is on the low end if you want to have a foam party. It works but no where near the 2000+PSI gassers for foam but for washing its awesome.
I even use mine for household chores and it does the job. Dont expect a world beater but its quiet and gets the job done. My next one will be 3000psi and gas baby!
good luck

I have the CleanForce 1800 and it's awesome. The wand has the quick disconnect so you shouldn't have to change any of the couplings unless u go with an MTM foamer. All you need is a replacement connector from Home Depot for less than five bucks.

Re: Recommendation for an affordable electric power washer
I tend to prefer gas powered washers. I've personally had fantastic luck with my Husky pressure washer. I've seen alot of guys here that buy Karcher units that only last a season or two. My husky is five years old now and still performs as well as the day I brought it home.
