Mytee S-300 Tempo Carpet & Upholstery Extractor??

It's non-heated. How effective can that be?

I guess you have to put hot water in it. Of course that's not going to be 210°F, or not for long after you pour it in there.

If that's Mytee's thought process, that would be an epic fail!! I'm wondering if the way it's designed, it can be effective with non-heated water?

Sure it will work with non-heated water. I'm sure the performance will not be as good on certain soils. By leaving out the heater, they have improved the cost, weight, complexity, and current draw of the unit.

I was just looking at the thing since it's on sale...I have a heated LGCM but as you know that's not exactly "professional grade". I'm not sure I want to spend $400-500 on something that doesn't have a heater, but look at the next step up at $800 or something.

I think the big thing about the Tempo is the portability, if you look at the weights of the other Mytee extractors.
