Stubborn water stains on my windshield

Looking for advice on the best way to remove hard water marks on my windshield.

They have only been on the car 2 days.

I do regular weekly washing plus hybrid V7

This morning I washed my car for the first time w/ the Ver 3 ONR

which worked excellent by the way.

since I just used blacklight and dodo juice wax the other Night. after washing I just did a quick finish with Hybrid V7

went to clean my windshield with stoner invisible aerosal.. noticed the hard water spots were still there buffed and cleaned twice w/ Stoners then did a light spray of V7 and the spots are still there.

the car looks incredible at the moment but the windshield looks less than impressive.

so I need something strong enough to really remove them and then Im going to buy a

    windshield specific glass sealant..

and thanks as usual guys !!

I have had good luck with DP High Performance Glass Restorer
Seems to get glass clean and polished.

I have also use vinegar (50/50 with water) to get rid of hard water spots.

I also use Aquapel with great results.

X2 on pinnacle! Worst case scenario 0000 steel wool just remember steel is denser than glass and you run a serious risk of scratching paint or the glass it self.
After you get them off gtechknik g1& g2 my optima has tons of glass full glass roof etch and g1/g2 keeps the water off so much better than anything else I have tried to include aquapel and rain x. Applied 2 months ago and it's holding up like. I just applied it!

yeh long ago, if really baked on, vinegar, glass restores etc... nothing worked for me. But I used #0000 steel wool with AIO I think, and it worked, you can feel the wool cutting/grabbing at the water spots. I had even tried compound on an aggressive cutting pad and that barely put a dent into the hard to remove water spots baked on grime. Def wouldn't touch paint with the wool though. Takes forever though so make sure you have the muscles to do so haha, doing a truck sucks. Think it took me a day or two to clean all the glass to about 95%, but it worked.

If only a few days, Duragloss Nu Glass should remove them. If longer use Car Pro Ceri Glass. Ceri Glass can get messy so protect the surrounding area.

I keep a bottle of DP Glass Restorer, can use by hand or buffer. Works well and seems to remove the minerals that cause the spots also. Aquapel afterwards for the seal.

A useful over the counter option is Meguiars Cleaner Wax. You wouldn't think it would work, but it works wonders!
