Good to hear...
Any before and after pictures? (Maybe I missed the thread?)

Re: single stage paint.. input please
Looks like you pulled a lot of dirt and oxidation out of that old single stage paint.
Nice work.
Sure would like to see some "after" pictures so don't give up on getting them.

Re: single stage paint.. input please
I would consider that color to be bronze, not brown. I think they would have sold more cars in that color had they called it bronze metallic instead of dark brown.
Very nice work on that car.
After pics, please!

Re: single stage paint.. input please
Bump for any pics and have questions!?!
How much M7 (full bottle, 2?) and how many towels did you use? Curious as to how much was "needed" for a vehicle of this size. How long did you let the M7 sit on the car and what did you use to wipe off, another white cotton towel or MF? I see you used M205 with (tangerine?) pad. How much of an improvement did this add to the paint did you find? Interesting choice for the wax, guesssing because of the darker paint. Hope you were able to acquire more after pics at least for your documentation!

Re: single stage paint.. input please
I did a SS Corvette not too long ago too.. but it was black 1991 i believe. Had a SS repaint a few years back and the paint was harder than hell. I had to use Surbuff & 105 to get swirls out, and wasn't able to get majority of the deeper stuff.

Re: single stage paint.. input please
Here's a link to what my brother and I did on his 73 Jaguar XJ6 with original single stage paint. We used ultimate compound on an orange hex logic, ultimate polish on a blue hex logic and ultimate wax on a black hex logic. Same thing you would do to any other car and it worked like a charm.
