Compound Recommendations?
Hey guys, I'm in the middle of placing an order and would like some suggestions for a new compound. I've been using m105 for the past year and a half, and would like something new and more advanced. If someone with experience with all the new compounds could help me that would be awesome! Thanks in advance guys! And Happy Holidays!

M105 still does the job, even if it's not brand new. But take a look at Meguiar's D300 or M101. Menzerna FG 400 is supposed to be good. 3D/HD just released HD Cut.

3m rubbing compound has a great cut, minimal dusting and easier to work with than 105.

I'd say M101 if you want to stay with Meg's products. I'm going to be making the switch at my shop when I run out of 105 in a couple months. I've seen nothing but great reviews on m101 and It's supposed to cut incredibly well with a foam pad.

Yeah I was looking at the FG400, it's seem to be a well rounded compound. I never heard of that 3D/HD, but I just looked it up and it seems awesome! I found this video over on autopia:
Hd cut vs Meg's 105 - YouTube
Seems to be better than the 105!
Anyway, thanks for your recommendations!:

Already have the 3m, thanks for the suggestion though! Definitely is a good compound, I agree it's easier than the 105.

Eh, I'm not particular to staying with one brand, I'm willing to branch out. I might pick up a sample of the m101, as from the show n' shines I've read on here it seems to great results. And I guess it doesn't dry up fast either, which is awesome.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Compound Recommendations?
M105 is still near the top. You could try M101, which cuts better, longer working time, and wipes of somewhat easier. SMAT is the way to go with a compound, IMO.
