Recommend pads/products for different vehicles
finally picked up a DA (from Harbor Freight) yesterday so now I'm in the process of finding out what else I should use for future personal details.
Universal across all 3 vehicles:
2 bucket wash using DG 901
Mother's clay with lube
Now on to the vehicle specific items that I need suggestions on
1st: 1998 Mazda 626 - ~285k miles
Lots of mileage, 14 years old, neglected for most of its life
Occasional driver, sits outside 24/7 (unless I drive it to work and park in the garage)
White so defects are hard to notice but I know the paint is rather dirty and the color is a little dull
2nd: 2005 Jeep Liberty
Wife's daily driver, washed with the 901 occasionally
Silver so again, defects are hard to notice
Not looking for perfection since it's the wife's and she honestly doesn't care but I want it to look better
3rd: (and most important) 2011 VW Jetta
Daily driver, Minor to moderate swirling, a few smallish scratches that don't seem to be deep at all and probably easily fixable, couple bird bomb etchings on the roof
Tempest Blue, Navy blueish with a pearl, ALL blemishes are noticeable
Current product considerations:
Pads: OPT MF polishing pads (2 or 3 to start)
LC flat pads - 6 pack - 2 orange, 2 white, 2 black
Products: OPT Hyper Polish or Meg's UC/UP
Blackfire Crystal Seal
Undecided on wax topper at the moment (currently use a Mother's carnuba on the Jetta about every 3 weeks, DG Aquawax after each wash in between wax sessions)
If I've missed anything or you know of something that would work better on these from previous experience, I'm all ears. Take into consideration that all 3 of these are outside just about all day every day until I can clear enough space in the garage to park in there so longevity is important. Also, with other hobbies and 2 kids I don't have the largest budget so price can be a factor.
If you've made it this far, thank you in advance for any information offered.

IMO: lighter color cars 501/601 Duragloss
VW not seeing the car makes this hard, my guess Poorboy's Pro polish 2 with green pad. PB Pro 2 is a chemical cleaner polish. Top with your favorite product of choice.
I am sure other will share different ideas and products......
