    Washing Towel Frequency?

Am I supposed to wash my towels after every use? If not, how frequently should I wash them?

    Re: Washing Towel Frequency?

Which towels? Waxing towels? Yes. Polishing towels? Yup. I think the only ones you can skip a wash on would be a drying towel, but I still wash mine 98% of the time just to be sure it didn't pick up any grit.

I wash all towels/applicators/pads after every detail (unless I'm doing multiples on the same day).

    Re: Washing Towel Frequency?

I wash all of my MF's after each use when applying wax/sealant, QD's, and cleaning/protection products. Drying MF's (used for drying the outside of a clean car) I wash usually after three uses (same day, weekly washes).

    Re: Washing Towel Frequency?

Anytime you use a towel there is a chance it will pick up a contaminant that can instill swirls or worse to the finish. I don't reuse towels until they have been washed. It helps to have a few dozen.
