Re: Getting bugs out of clear bra?

Since we've covered some great ways to remove bugs...the next postulate I have is this:

What is the best way to protect PPM from the bug splatter in the first place. This seems oxymoronic in my book (PPM is used to protect paint...what can we use to protect PPM...), but I am curious. Where I live, we have an entire period of the year called "love bug season". If I can reduce the impact of bug guts on my PPM, I'd do so in a heartbeat.
The rest of the year it's a non-issue, but during love bug season, it's brutal (as Mike would probably acknowledge as well)!

There used to be (and still may be) spray on and apply products that act like a temporary barrier blocking bugs from sticking. You apply the product and when the bugs appear, you can simply wash the product off along with the bugs using a hose.
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

Would love to get the names of some products which do this. Very interested.

    •Besides something like XPEL’s “Tracwrap”...

Griot’s Garage has Bug Barricade, a Spray on treatment to keep bugs from bonding. Looks like it has positive reviews in the AG store.
Haven’t used it myself, hopefully others can chime in if they’ve got experience with it.

That probably works the same way as the one I had in mind
