Exclamation need a local store product to remove brake dust ASAP

I'm detailing a BMW with stubborn brake dust. It sucks and I am ordering Iron X. Sonax, mothers, meguiars apc are not working. I'm in a pinch and the car has to be ready tomorrow. I need something today.

anyone know of something availabe in stores that works at dissolving baked brake dust such as Iron X? I have all the chain stores around like az, aap, pep boys, Sherwin Williams, lowes, hd, etc... Much obliged

My suggestion would be Zep purple degreaser at 4:1. Available at Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

Meguiars new all wheel cleaner and follow it with clay if need be. Should take care of the wheels unless they are destroyed

I did see Meg's wheel brightener locally at sherwin Williams but I'm concerned about its acidity.

See my post "Wheels still not clean"
I too tried all of the sprays on the market.
I headed the advice on the forum of using clay and it quickly solved the problem...

    +1

Meg's Foaming All Wheel and Tire Cleaner (not brightener) is nearly equal to Sonax for 1/3 the cost. Spray it on dry wheels, let it sit for 5 mins, agitate, and rinse. Does a great job on the tires, too. If they're really bad, you may need to repeat ( it took me 4 apps of Sonax and 1 of Meg's to clean some neglected i30 wheels).

Meg's Chrome Wheel Cleaner will blow that brake dust right off. But, its corrosive so you would have to be super careful with it, and I would only let it dwell a few seconds... I would use clay first though, thats safer and should do it, just may take more time.
    Recently, I tried several products
To clean my rotor hats and nothing worked at getting the brake dust off except the Meg's. Check out the pics:
